Tehran is ready to restart atomic negotiations with Washington provided that it is handled with "dignity" and "respect", Tehran's foreign minister has declared.

The Iranian diplomat said solely negotiations was effective, and disclosed recent overtures had been made by intermediaries to reopen talks with the Trump administration. He claimed Iran possessed no unreported enrichment locations, and Iran was not yet able to permit the global atomic watchdog to inspect struck enrichment centers for security reasons.

Navigating a Difficult Path

The foreign minister is navigating a difficult course since Iran does not want appear to be operating from a position of weakness, and he emphatically stated that Iran had come out stronger defensively and mentally from the Israeli-US attack on its nuclear sites in June.

He was speaking at a strategic meeting in Tehran where he restated that Iran had "a fundamental entitlement to process nuclear material on home soil that it will always maintain" – the key factor of the stalemate in the prior discussions.

Earlier Talks Suddenly Terminated
